I made an appt. with a hair place to get my hair done for prom. They said that up-dos start at $ 20-25 depending on how much they have to do. I have long thick hair. How much money should I bring?

The starting price is usually for very short hair, above the shoulders. They then charge more for shoulder length, sholder blade length, middle of the back and hip length. I'd take $55-$70 just to be on the safe side if your hair is that long, and to cover the tip. Hopefully it won't be that much and you can put the rest back in the bank when you leave the salon.
