Should I perm my hair for my senior prom???
In your opinion?????
if by perm u mean relaxer as in chemical hair straightner i think u should think about it. if u get one ur gonna have to take real good care for ur hair. and it's gonna have to be a continued process too. every 3 month or so ur gonna have to get a new one.
In your opinion?????
No! Trust me, I got a perm once and it was itchy and gross when they put the chemicals in, and afterwards my hair was nothing like it was supposed to look! Just get it styled at a salon, and it'll look great.
In your opinion?????
Perms are very 80's. If you want curls for the prom, use hot rollers or a curling iron.
In your opinion?????
Don't think so. It'd be better if you went for a more relaxed look
In your opinion?????
sure, why not
In your opinion?????
yes, wear a jean jacket too.

i used to perm my hair (plus my hair is naturally curly), and you should only get it permed if you plan on putting a lot of product in it to look decent. curly hair is naturally frizzier, and i must say, unpredictable. plus depending on how long your hair is, it takes a while to straighten it if you want to. if you just want something temporary (like say your prom), just have a stylist curl it (with an iron, they have ways for making it stay the whole night) if you DO perm your hair, Matrix has really nice gel (it's in a reddish tube, you get it in salons) and i suggest NEVER blowdrying it, unless you want hair ten feet out! lol good luck
In your opinion?????
no. there are other ways too get great curls. follow these tips.
get these 2 hair products ..... alberto vo5 smoothing frizz defese creme. it comes in a red tube with a silver cap. it's about 2.00 too 3.00 anywhere. next get garnier frutics styles hard curl get extra strong. it comes in a green see though tube with a dark green cap. for like 3.00 too 4.00. this will really help. pbe for curling your hair put a quarter size amount through hair or a little less to be on the safe side. curl hair with curling iron. after that put a little more of each in. this will keep the curl and stop frizz!
hope i could help!

Depends on if your hair is long or short? Long hair looks good in those spiral type perms, but short hair don't look that good with a perm!
Do it a few weeks before the prom just in case you don't like it or it gets frizzy you can change it before the Prom!
In your opinion?????
Ahhhh.. I wouldn't recommend it.
Curly / Wavy / Textured hair can be really beautiful, especially on prom night. But perms last for months (Perm is short for Permanent, you know), and are notorious for coming out bad, frying hair, ect. I'd suggest using a simple curling iron, or going to a salon and getting an up-do.
I have naturally curly / wavy hair, which I usually flat-iron. From my experience, people tend to not take you seriously when you have curly hair. (I know this sounds strange, but it's generally true. I guess people see 'fun' hair, and assume you're all fun-and-games.) Curly hair also tends to look very 'dressed-up', especially when the hair is worn up and away from the face. This can be a problem on days that you want to 'dress down'. Your hair won't match your clothing style.. See what I'm saying?
On the contrary, some people CAN pull off a perm.. You just have to make sure you have the right face shape / hair to pull it off. If you decide to get one, PLEASE consult a professional - I can't stress this enough! You might want to opt for a Semi-Permanent first.. before prom season. Sort of like a test run.
I'd really hate to see you get a bad perm the week before prom night, and be stuck with it! Ack.. imagine the prom photos!
There's going to be plenty of pros and cons to any new hairstyle. My best advice is to consult a stylist, ask plenty of questions.. then take what you've learned and use your best judgement.
In your opinion?????
NOOOOOOOO! Thats a VERY bad idea.
In your opinion?????
Do what you think you would like its your hair!!!!
In your opinion?????

Big hair is coming back into style. Prom Magazine's hairstylists were told the bigger the better for hairstyles in this upcoming issue (the one with Ashley Tisdale on the cover). It's due out January 2007 - you can get it at Barnes and Nobel, this will show more hairstyles to wear also. Or you can order one in advance:
