Best updo for Prom??

I have a beautiful green dress that makes me look like a princess (its strapless), and I have long wavy red hair that goes to about the middle of my back. But it would be boring to leave it down, so what kindof updo should I do that does not cost a lot of money, but still looks really good?

Why don't you get some loose curls/waves put in and leave it down? It'd look beautiful! Or get an updo with lots of flowing curls, that would look even better!

I've done this with my hair, maybe you will like it... have your hair french braided upside down and ringlet the left over hair/ you have someone start the braid and the base. ( you will have to find a comfortable spot since your head will be down) you stop the braid at where you would with a a pony tail. its very nice and not done often...you will get looks on "How did you do that"

Well i think that if you just take the front of your hair %26amp; put it into litle twists back %26amp; then let the rest of your hair hang down your back it would look really cute besure to put some gel or mousse into it to tame the frizz. My cousin did this with her hair for her 8th grade gradution %26amp; her hair is curly %26amp; hangs down past her waist. It looks really good if you do it right!!
