Ok my girlfriend is wearing a "soft pastel baby green with soft gold lace" dress. I have a navy suit that I am going to wear. I want to match her dress with a white/green shirt and then a green tie. But in my head the combination seems kind of wierd (navy suit/green shirt+tie) I have hazel eyes + brown hair and have always been told I look good in green.

you can make it work if you can find an inside shirt that has green, blue white and gold in it....or some sort of that combination with a plain green tie. OR even a tie with those colors and have a plain shirt. just mix around the colors.

idk if the navy suit is a good idea, it doesnt really match, but if u hafta use it, maybe incorporate a tie with all different kinds of shades of green and ALITTLE OF blue in it, or idk even some gold, if thats POSSIBLE to find
but over all, the blue and the green is a no no.
