i am wearing a bow tie (dont laugh) and dont want to go for a black. was thinking red. btw if it matters i have black curly hair

If you are going with a date, find out what color her dress is..perhaps you could match her theme..turquoise, red, purple, pink, whatever is out there, anything besides black would work and be cool.

Bow ties there is nothing to laugh about that. They are very classy as long you have a real bow tie, the kind you tie your self. The ones that they give you at the prom rental place, to ME, look very up-tight, Pe-wee Herman type. Anyhow red bow tie would be nice. You can find many on Ebay and plenty of stripes, solids, if you want something affordable. Just remember you want to be the guy with the bow tie hanging around you collar at the eand of the night not have it stuffed in you pocket.
