My prom is in 4 days, i have a strapless dress, and i really want to impress my date!

i dont know what to do with my hair?

so guys, my question is: would you rather want your prom dates hair up or down if they are wearing a strapless dress?

(my hair is about 3ft long)

This is a difficult question based on the fact we don't know what you look like with your hair up or down. Hence it's hard to gauge what would look the best on you.

Perhaps you should ask you're date what he likes the best? Or at least ask your friends. Alternatively you could post a link to several pictures with your hair in different styles and people would rate the best one.

Generally I suppose for a prom, then having your hair up tends to look more classy, but it can really depend - you might look amazing with your hair down - I don't know!

well, i'm not a guy.. but if it's for your prom.. you should totally put your hair up! believe me girls always want to pick their hair up becuase they're bothered by it! it has happened to me the times that i've gone to formal dances in my school... hope i helped!

i think you should most definately wear it up, darling. by wearing your hair up, you'd be able to show your neck, show off your shoulders, and we'd definately be able to see those collar bones (i'm sorry, hun, i have a collar bone fetish). [smile]

Definitely keep it up to show off your shoulders, but maybe leave a couple loose, light tendrils. Try doing a Google Image search for "prom hair" and you'll get TONS of pictures to choose from.

Also, I recommend using a little bit of shimmering lotion or powder along your collarbone to make your neck and shoulders glow and look elegant, but don't go overboard with glitter!

Go for an Up-do if the dress is strapless an up-do will be the best. It will make you look more elegant

try a flower bun with a side bang it will look beautiful
